I’ve been reading on a few websites recently how there was a pandemic during the reign of King David. He told everyone to recite 100 Blessings a Day until it passed.
For those who are not familiar with all the Jewish prayers and blessings one website offers this as a solution: During your day find 100 things to thank Hashem for. Whether it be the stars or the Hubble Telescope (a personal favorite), kitty cats or puppies, peas or carrots, winter, summer, spring or fall – or all of the above – we can all think of a 100 things every day to be thankful for.
Also on the mind this past week is Isaiah 26:20
Go, my people, enter your chambers, And lock your doors behind you. Hide but a little moment, Until the indignation passes.
